This weekend we have some art events going on worthwhile supporting:
Friday night at Morningstar Chris Underwood is having his first artists reception at their gallery, 5-8pm.
Also Saturday night Renovatus is hosting an art gallery amongst the plaza midwood crawl, Patrick, myself and Christy Smith will be showing amongst others so do come to the offices and enjoy that with us!
If you missed the sermon yesterday I encourage you to listen to the podcast – it was a beautiful sermon and really impacted me.

we flew away to black mountain this weekend with the girls. it was wonderful and inspirational and slow and stress free and sweet and so needed after the month we’ve had. we spent half of the time in asheville, listening to our girls laugh and skip around. something of travel revives me and makes me ready for the rest. i will swim against the current of this present city sprint now until i forget the hushed sounds of hemlock paths and the quiet cool of moss rocks and slick river crossings.
God knows how i love those hills.
chris – i hate we missed your show, but so glad to hear of it’s success. it’s inevitable. your hands are painting a beauty your mind sees, and it’s like a birth experience to see what you’ve made. you’re delivering, friend – and i know the applause will be there.
jess – thank you for the note. bryan was away on my birthday, it was quiet, but the girls made me feel so loved all day. i am better, so much better, especially after this weekend away – i am feeling like a human again.

Thanks to all of you for providing us with some delicious meals. I cooked my first meal last night. You guys lightened my burdens tremendously, it was a real blessing to not have to cook, or meal plan. Nicole, Happy belated birthday. I too am sorry we missed it. Hope you guys are all well. has everyone’s lives just been so crazy lately?? I feel like I havent seen or talked to anyone in forever…haha but I think in reality its only been 2 weeks;)
well wherever you may be or whatever you are doing, just know that I miss you guys and love you so much – you are on my mind often and I hope that you all are doing well
get back to this place and give some updates – even hi’s and hello’s are grand…just to stay in touch more often…
another group get together soon?? i missed the ladies last night…we have GOT to start getting together again, I miss it oh so badly…we just havent really gotten started with our new plan yet…so lets do it soon;)

I just checked my email and saw one from Rita- there is a church picnic this Sunday the 29th- We’ve been asked to supply the hotdogs
Veronne group: 100 hot dogs (not buns) ketchup, mustard, and chopped onions.
I know..that’s alot of hot dogs. Let’s see, there is 8 to a pack, so if everyone can bring 2 packs to church on Sunday..
